Overview

Circa is the leading adults-only resort in Las Vegas creating unique experiences for their guests. Their signature attraction is the “Stadium Swim,” which consists of six different pools on three different levels in front of a 143’ high-definition screen. The pool area can hold up to 4,000 people and includes plenty of cozy day beds, chaise lounges, and cabanas for guests to relax or to watch a game on the big screen.

Since Surface America’s AquaFlex product has been used on other resorts in the Las Vegas area and has proven to be the best solution for resort pool decks, the decision was simple – AquaFlex was the surfacing option of choice for this high-class resort.

Key Challenges and Solutions

The launch date of this project was expedited. This resulted in many hours of overtime, weekend work, and working around other trades in the same area.

Unique Project Features

Surface America applied the AquaFlex product over concrete and waterproofing materials, creating a durable, skid-resistant, color-fast surface perfect for this active multi-pool surround.

The specific striped design was requested by the client and required a custom pigment for one of the selected pebble colors. Surface America also installed vertical wall bases, vertical stairs, stair tops, and a separate color for stair nosing to comply with all regulations.

This show-stopper pool will surely bring crowds to the Circa Resort & Casino for many years to come.
